As a Part-Time Tailor you will report directly to the Store Manager. As a master at your craft, you will provide the finishing touches to a great customer experience.
What you will do in this role…
Tailoring to perfection
- Help our customers look great, with proper sizing and styling suggestions
- Mark ‘em up! Accurately mark and measure garments requiring tailoring
- Make it sew easy! Perform all levels of alterations, from basic hems to more detailed alteration requirements
- Stay in the know – keep up to date with fashion trends & styling
Be part of a winning team…
- Help out on the sales floor when needed or during down times
- Show off your sales skills by presenting wardrobe solutions with each and every customer
- Create customer experiences that makes them want to come back
- Listen to customer feedback and communicate with your Store Manager to identify opportunities to improve customer service
As an ideal candidate, you are an individual with…
- Excellent technical skills – you sew like it’s nobody’s business!
- An eye for detail - bad fitting clothing makes you crazy! You take pride in making customers look great.
- Speed and accuracy. You can help that customer who’s late for a wedding and needs his pants hemmed. You work well under pressure because you are great at what you do.
And your qualifications include…
- Technical design diploma or equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 17 years of age to be considered for this position
