About the Role
We're excited to add an experienced Journeyman Mechanic to the NAPA Auto Pro Redcliff team. We're looking for someone who has built a strong foundation in diagnostics and repair and genuinely enjoys the problem-solving side of the trade. You'll have the space to work with confidence and ownership, supported by a team that values your expertise and wants to see you succeed. Diagnostics
- Advanced scan tool operation and interpretation
- Electrical and wiring fault diagnosis
- Drivability and performance troubleshooting
- Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis
- Systematic root-cause identification
Mechanical Repair
- Engine, transmission, and drivetrain work
- Brake systems (hydraulic and electronic)
- Steering, suspension, and alignment
- Heating, cooling, and A/C systems
- Fuel and exhaust systems
Independent Work
- Manage your own bay efficiently and cleanly
- Prioritize jobs with minimal direction
- Seek solutions before escalating
- Communicate findings clearly to advisors
Standards & Precision
- Accurate, detailed repair documentation
- Adherence to OEM specs and torque values
- Consistent quality across all job types
- Safety-first mindset at all times
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification
- Proven ability to diagnose complex issues accurately and efficiently
- Strong track record of independent, high-quality repair work
- Experience with a wide range of makes and models, domestic and import (Ford experience will be given preference)
- Proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment and software
- Willingness to keep skills current as vehicle technology evolves
- Valid driver's licence
- Own tools appropriate to the trade
