Composite Piping Field Service Technician is responsible for installing Fiberspar and Star fiberglass pipe systems. This role involves regular travel to job sites and requires strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Please note, this position is located in Redcliff and has regular travel to site locations.
What you will bring:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, fiberglass, pipeline installation, or the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and commitments.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- First Aid and H2S Alive are an asset
- Technical certification in a related field is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug, alcohol, and fitness to work).
What you will do:
- Install and inspect fiberglass piping systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and ISO standards
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Provide professional customer support
- Complete field documentation accurately
- Travel extensively to remote job sites
- Uphold high standards of safety and workmanship
- Ensuring full compliance with all TS&M Supply procedures, including ISO standards, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality expectations.
- Interacting with customers in a professional, courteous, and solution-focused manner.
- Operating, maintaining, and caring for all assigned tools and equipment.
- Traveling to job sites, often over long distances, and responding to customer service requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Accurately completing and submitting all required field reports and documentation.
- Supporting continuous improvement by maintaining clear, accurate process documentation and adhering to established procedures.
- Assisting in loading and unloading of Fiberspar spools
- Assisting in cleaning and maintaining TS&M shop and yard
- Applying knowledge of fiberglass materials and installation practices in line with engineering specifications and product requirements.
- Conducting quality control inspections to ensure products and installations meet TS&M Supply’s standards.
- Demonstrating a consistent commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in all aspects of the role.
- Regular travel to site locations for extended periods is required. Weekend availability as required.
