️ About the Role

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to high-quality production? Join QinetiQ Target Systems Canada (QTSC) as a Production Operator , where you’ll support the manufacture, testing, and operation of assemblies for uncrewed vehicles and support equipment used globally.

This is a safety-sensitive role that requires a strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You’ll work hands-on with machinery, perform inspections, and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

What You’ll Do

Assemble products using build instructions and drawings
Test systems and sub-assemblies under supervision
Conduct quality checks and inspections
Maintain machinery and report issues
Keep work areas clean and organized
Support onboarding and training of new team members
Assist Engineering with documentation and testing
Perform incoming inspections aligned with ISO-9001 standards

What You Bring

High School Diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience (preferred)
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
Strong work ethic, flexibility, and resilience under pressure
Effective communication and attention to detail

Security & Safety

Must be eligible for Canadian Class 2 Security Clearance
Clean background and criminal record check required
Comfortable working in noisy environments and wearing PPE
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks
Willing to support and promote a positive safety culture
