Join our dynamic team as a full-time, year-round Lawn Care Maintenance & Snow Removal Labourer! Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy, attractive landscapes.
- Operate various power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow removal equipment efficiently and safely.
- Conduct snow removal operations using plows, shovels, and snow blowers to ensure clear pathways and driveways during winter months.
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas.
- Support gardening activities such as planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation to enhance landscape aesthetics.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance for optimal operation.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to landscape improvements or site upgrades as needed.
- Guaranteed minimum paid hours throughout the winter, whether it snows or not.
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating hand tools and power tools is essential for safe and effective work.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Construction or landscaping experience will be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards.
