We are currently looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our team in providing one-on-one support to individuals living independently in the community. This position involves assisting individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Shifts are available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. Shift lengths may vary depending on the individual’s support needs and staffing schedule. Staff must be flexible and available to work split shifts and shorter shifts when required.
Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts may be available. Hours can fluctuate from month to month based on program needs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with personal care, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Supporting with mobility and transfers
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders and daily routines
- Community outings and recreational activities
- Documentation and communication with the support team
- Providing behavioural and emotional support when needed
Relevant experience working in disability support, community living, healthcare, behavioural support, or related fields is considered an asset, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification (required)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work split shifts and flexible schedules
- Available week days/ Weekend

Job Type: Casual / Part-time
Pay: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Experience:
- Relevant support work, caregiving, disability support, or healthcare experience: 1 year (preferred)
