Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.):
Not required
Experience:
Will train, however Forklift, First Aid, Metal Working, Class-1 Licence or Air Brake Endorsement
would all be assets for the position.
Languages:
Speak English, Read English, Write English
Weight Handling:
Up to 45 kg (100 lbs.)
Specific Skills:
Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment, Check and weigh materials and
products, Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products, Assist machine operators,
assemblers and other workers, Clean work areas and equipment, Perform other labouring
and elemental activities, Overhead crane experience, forklift experience, knowledge of steel,
knowledge of loading flat deck trailers
Own Tools/Equipment:
Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding,
Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
