INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTING CLERK
Mook Fabrics Ltd is a large wholesale/retail fabric supplier servicing and distributing throughout Canada and the United States.
We are looking for a permanent, full-time, reliable, and dependable individual to join our team based in Medicine Hat.
Duties:
- Complete A/P offsets from inventory system & match w/packing slips & invoices
- Ensure all invoices are received for month end close.
- Ensure invoices/credits are recorded accurately.
- Ensure all invoices/credits are scanned appropriately for future reference.
- Liaison with suppliers re enquiries.
- Filing, data entry and general office duties.
- Maintain information as required.
- Organizing and maintaining files.
- Undertake administrative projects that support the office.
- Accurate completion of cash out at end of day & replenish cash floats for retail.
- Complete deposits accurately & scan to appropriate folders.
- Other duties as directed.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Business related certificate or appropriate years of experience in a financial/administrative support role.
- IT literacy with a strong working knowledge and experience of MS Excel
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Uses initiative and is decisive.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Attention to detail.
- 2 – 3 years financial/administrative support experience is required and must include experience with an accounts payable cycle.
- Provision of high level administration support.
- Critical thinker.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Location/Transport: Must have own reliable transportation as public transport is not available close to the store. Mook Fabrics is located in the Southwest Industrial area, behind the airport.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
