Job Overview
The Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing administrative services within the Fleet department and project delivery services. The Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk will be expected to liaise with multiple divisions and provide administrative support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to project team through day-to-day coordination of ongoing projects and related projects requirements including purchase orders, material tracking, etc
- Coordination and booking of rooms, flights, meetings as required
- Office reception and perform various clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, ordering and maintaining department supplies
- Responsible for entering all project data in electronic systems such as visa reconciliations, cost code tracking and creating invoices and tracking payables
- Assist with construction handover packages and close out documentation
- Maintain all project documents – file structure management
Qualifications and Requirements
- Post-Secondary Education with one (1) year minimum in an administrative role
- College or University education in Business Administration or related field is an asset
- Experience with accounting and ERP platforms is an asset
- Highly organized with ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to travel when required for client meetings and larger project set up
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and highest quality of written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing demands
- Ability to protect confidential and sensitive information
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a team
