REDI Enterprises is currently seeking a permanent, part-time (20-25 hours/week), Administrative Assistant with wage range of $15.75 to $19.90 per hour plus generous benefit package. This role provides reception support for the REDI Administration Building. The position acts as a first point of contact for incoming clients and visitors, performs gate-keeping functions in accordance with facility health and safety procedures, and books vehicles and monitors meeting room bookings to minimize conflicts. The position also performs a variety of basic administrative functions to support the administrative and service delivery areas of the agency and requires a high level of confidentiality.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent. 1 year of post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field preferred

· Relevant experience is preferred

· Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

· Intermediate level of computer literacy that meets the needs of the role. Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)

· Clean Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Record or one acceptable to the Executive Director

· A positive attitude and belief that persons with disabilities have the right and responsibility to define and act on their life choices and seek active participation in the community

· Ability to contribute to timely and professional client service by answering and directing incoming phone calls, faxes, responding to emails, taking messages where necessary, and following up to ensure messages are delivered appropriately

· Welcoming clients and visitors following prescribed procedures, notify appropriate staff person, and/or refer the client or visitor to the appropriate department

· Ability to complete required documentation, written and/or digital, in grammatically accurate, concise language to reduce misinterpretations

· Remaining aware of and following policies, practices, and operational protocols.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.75-$19.90 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
