Straightline Kia Medicine Hat is growing, and we are currently seeking a hard-working, goal-oriented Apprentice Technician to join our team!

Position Overview

The Apprentice Technician possesses strong communication skills, with the ability to listen carefully, accurately assess situations, and effectively execute all steps within the service process. This individual can maintain focus on the big picture while paying close attention to detail, consistently delivering high-quality results.

A successful candidate is motivated to continually develop their technical expertise, striving to become a leader in their field and ensuring the service provided exceeds customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned service and repair tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer standards in all service processes
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members
  • Maintain attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Uphold dealership values and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships across all departments

  • Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Basic computer skills.

Education & Experience

  • Strong product knowledge.
  • Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs..
  • Valid Driver’s License for province of employment.
  • One (1) year Brand product experience is an asset but not necessary
  • Dealership experience preferred.

Company benefits provided after 90 day probationary period, VW training provided online and in class (travel required), Monday through Friday with rotational Saturday's
