Job Summary

VVS has earned a reputation as Medicine Hat’s go-to auto detailing experts, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team. As an Interior & Exterior Detail Specialist, you’ll work in a fast-paced, positive, and rewarding environment where quality, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction always come first. Most of the work will take place in our climate-controlled detail lab, with occasional outdoor assignments using our mobile service. Tasks
- Vacuuming of interior carpets and upholstery
- Intricate cleaning and detailing of dashes, interfaces, consoles, door panels, air vents and thresholds
- Glass, mirror, and delicate electronic screen cleaning
- Cloth upholstery pre-treating, extraction, and steam cleaning
- Leather-type upholstery cleaning and conditioning
- Floor mat cleaning - pressure washing, steam cleaning, shampoo & extraction
- Application of different interior protectants and conditioners
- Delicate exterior handwashing using VVS techniques and standards
- Wheel well scrubbing, tire scrubbing, and delicate rim detailing
- Applying exterior paint sealants, waxes, glass coatings, and dressings
- Comprehensive towel and blow drying of vehicles exteriors
- Measuring and dilution of detailing chemicals
- Sorting and folding of detail cloths and towels
- Performing preventative maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs of detail equipment
- Emphasizing daily tidying and weekly deep cleaning of the detail lab to VVS standards
- Prior experience in automotive cleaning or detailing is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures is a plus
Detailer Requirements
- Previous detailing experience definitely a preferred asset, but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and acceptance of meticulous VVS standards
- Passion for cleaning; being rewarded with the results of your efforts
- Ability to consistently follow VVS detail procedures and safety practises
- Willingness to learn new techniques and improve any previous knowledge
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and transportation to work each day

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements listed below are essential to this role. VVS will provide the necessary procedures and protective equipment to support employees in safely meeting these demands.
- Constant, medium-paced movement for 8-10 hrs per day
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, scrubbing; all for moderate periods of time
- Working in tight or awkward areas
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in reasonable outdoor temperatures/conditions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
