Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with guests, create a welcoming atmosphere, and showcase your skills in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food and beverage service standards.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, process payments, and handle cash handling responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, suggesting cocktails to guests taste, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Manage and multitask multiple guests and bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in letting management know if ordering is required
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely serving of food

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Touch Bistro or others
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards and beverage preparation
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws and regulations
• A friendly personality with a professional appearance and attitude
• Must be capable of standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
