Asyma Solutions Ltd is a growing technology consulting company with one of the highest customer satisfaction rating in the industry. We are currently seeking an Internal Bookkeeper based in Lethbridge Alberta. We are looking for someone who has a strong bookkeeping background and business acumen. Your role will be to handle the bookkeeping and related invoicing requirements.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience handling reasonably complicated business accounting. You will be trained in the usage of our current Sage 300 (Accpac) systems. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong long-term relationships with customers, from first contact through to customer for life service.

Responsibilities:

· Analyze and record business transactions

· Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of company

· Perform data entry and analysis

· Handle the entry of the Sage invoices and related reconciliation

· Maintain tracking and report of Sage commissions and related subcontractor reconciliation

· Provide regular financial reports (monthly and yearly)

· Handle the phone and allocate to the appropriate consultant

· Prepare basic financial statements

· Make bank deposits and reconcile records of bank transactions

· Maintain records of accounts receivable and payable and related reconciliations

· Handle account receivable collections

· Ensure timely processing of payroll

· Handle payroll functions and related Govt remittances

· Remit and file T4 slips

· Generate electronic payments for both payroll and payables (Limited cheques)

· Prepare invoices and reports, such as sales tax reports and worker’s compensation reports

· Assist software renewals and related invoicing

· Stay current with new pricing/payment plans

· Assist with customer support renewals and related invoicing

· Prepare subcontractor billings and invoicing

· Prepare subcontractor payables and reconcile will invoice billings and contracts

· Understand the value our products and services provide to customers.

· Assist in organizing marketing events (tradeshows, conferences, webinars, etc.).

· Assist with maintaining business relationships (associations, community, vendors, etc.).

· Perform other bookkeeping duties

· Customer service oriented

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Diploma/degree in business accounting would be desirable
  • 3+ years of experience in related field
