Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities*
· Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on premises. Inspect the Premises daily, identify any repairs needed, perform repairs yourself if able to, if not inform the management about a professional handy service required.
· Lock and secure premises daily
· Respond to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns
· Perform daily custodian duties at the premises and the reception house of the organization.
· Perform inspection of the premises and ensure that any hazardous conditions are immediately taken care of
· Coordinate licensed inspections as required
· Conduct routine, non-licensed inspections of facilities including fire equipment, water sewer.
· Coordinate major maintenance and repairs as required to mechanical systems, HVAC systems, as well as, replacing bulbs as needed
· Assist and monitor construction or remodeling projects
· Meet evening/weekend casual facilitators in order to allow them in the building and lock-up the building once they’re done
· Secure safe access to premises by removing snow around the two buildings sidewalk, except for the parking lot, latest by 8:00 am
· General Maintenance and small repairs, such as repairing locks, carpentry, painting, etc., for the purpose of ensuring a safe working condition
· Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
