Medicine Hat College’s Athletics & Recreation department is accepting application for Camp Leaders (Recreation Assistant II) for the 2023 Summer Sports Camps.
A little about the role:
With a positive, energetic & enthusiastic attitude, the Camp Leader (Recreation Assistant II) will teach children a variety of activities, adapting teaching methods & instructional materials to meet and exceed the needs of children of varying abilities. This position will also be responsible for enforcing all Camp policies and procedures.
As a successful applicant you will have:
- Experience working with, instructing, and coaching children is required
- Sport specific knowledge and experience is required
- Current standard First Aid and CPR B is required
- Previous camp experience and knowledge of the Sport and Wellness programs, services, and facilities is an asset
Terms of Employment:
Term of Appointment: June 26, 2023 to August 31, 2023
Hours of Work: Up to 35 hours per week, on call as needed
Wage Rate: $16.53 per hour (Start Rate); $17.99 per hour (Job Rate)
