Soul Oilfield is currently hiring an ESP Spool Truck driver position. Candidate must have either a class 1 or a class 3 license and must have a clean driving record. 8-10 years previous oilfield experience, including oilfield lease experience, is a must. This position requires you to be able to work long hours, and be away from home for extended periods.

Job Duties:

- Driving spool truck or pickup units with and without trailers attached

- Load client property onto spool truck and trailer

- Maintaining a log book and following hours of service regulations

- Performing on-site duties associated with ESP installs and pulls including: Installation and removal of bands and clamps, spooling ESP cable, performing onsite duties as per company safe operating procedures

- Extensive travel and long hours

- Perform minor vehicle maintenance to your assigned spooler unit

- Completing pre-trip and post trip inspections of your spooler unit and associated equipment

- Actively participate in Soul’s safety culture: Job observation cards, hazard assessments, online and in class safety training, equipment maintenance logs, tailgate safety meetings, site specific hazard assessments, incident investigations

- Completing field service tickets

- Work a 3 on, 1 week off schedule

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 8-10 years prior oilfield experience

- Class 1 or 3 license

- Clean drivers abstract

- Oilfield Tickets: H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO

Location of Work:

- Customer client sites throughout BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan

- Base of Operations located in Nisku

- Majority of jobs require 1-2 nights in a hotel near client location and then return to base

Ability to pass the pre-employment drug testing is mandatory and essential for permanent employment.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
