Responsibilities
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Complete tasks such as grinding, cement work, etc
- Assist with building and stripping forms
- Assist and support cement finishers in completing their tasks, when required
- Lead and control housekeeping on work sites
- Effectively take direction and guidance
- Actively participate in morning tool-box and weekly safety meetings
- Good knowledge of construction materials, tools and machinery used.
- Work with or without close supervision
- Complete other duties as assigned and required
- Observe Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times
- Perform work from heights
- Qualifications
- Welding knowledge or experience an asset
- Previous construction background would be beneficial
- Able to perform physical tasks including lifting
- Must be open to learning new tasks
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract are considered an asset
- CSA approved steel toed boots required
Current projects are located around Southern Alberta, travel maybe required. We do offer LOA and accommodations are provided when working away from home.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Experience:
