Responsibilities:
- Reviews proposals and agreements for contract requirements and accuracy
- Acts as a liaison between the department managers and the legal department regarding the contracts and updating and confirming required information
- Tracks and manages pricing as well as the contracting process for long and short-term contracts
Qualifications:
- 3 plus years of experience as a legal assistant, or as a purchasing or procurement assistant with experience reviewing contracts
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling confidential information
- Experience in the healthcare industry is an asset
