Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead <PERSON> to oversee daily operations within our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a comprehensive understanding of food preparation, safety, and service standards. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high-quality meal preparation, and maintaining excellent customer service to deliver a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate the food service team to ensure efficient operations during shifts
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in all kitchen activities
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling as needed, setting an example for team members
- Train and mentor staff on proper serving techniques, food safety protocols, and customer service skills
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry with a focus on meal preparation and cooking
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and interact with customers professionally
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly is highly desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant or food industry standards to ensure consistent quality and safety
