Description
We are currently in search of a career orientated person to join our Customer Service team, Plumbing division. The position operates in a fast paced, dynamic, rewarding environment.
You will be responsible for all Plumbing counter sales and product returns while providing expertise as a member of the customer service team. Your job duties are, but not limited to:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
- Purchasing materials for customers and sales negotiations
- Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
- Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Ensuring that customers are satisfied with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries and overall service
- Counter Sales and handling returns as required
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to warm up and develop rapport with potential customers
- Ability to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from your customers
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Email)
- Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Minimum grade 12 education
- Previous experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry is considered an asset
Final candidates will be required to undergo an assessment and security screening, including a criminal record check. Employment is subject to screening completion that is satisfactory to Bartle & Gibson.
