Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, familiarity with commercial driving, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. The Delivery Driver plays a vital part in our logistics operations, supporting the seamless movement of freight and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or issues
• Assist with warehouse operations such as freight handling and inventory management when required

Qualifications

• Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience in commercial driving or freight transportation preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely (in house training available)
• Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
• Prior experience with freight handling or warehouse operations is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
