Overview

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB (98UF, Fort McMurray Region) is looking for Drivers & Operators to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for safely operating, driving and maintaining industrial services equipment such as Combo, Vac, Semi Vac, High Pressure, Steam, Water or Hot Oiler Units.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Attends daily safety meetings and ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Drives, operates and stages various units (i. e. Vac, Combo, Pressure Trucks or High-Pressure Units);
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections including maintenance of equipment and general repairs;
  • Communicates with dispatcher
  • Works in confined spaces such as vessels and tanks and may transport hazardous goods;
  • Works as part of a team with Customer, Co-workers & Supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Class 1 Driver’s license required;
  • Minimum of one (1) year driving and operating the following units: Combo, Vac, Semi Vac, High Pressure, Steam, Water or Hot Oiler;
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period of time.
