The REDI Recycles Bottle Depot is now interviewing for a fulltime Production Worker II (Driver) in our Recycling Centre! Our teammates navigate a physically active, fast-paced production environment each day, and we are looking for the next addition to our team.

The REDI Bottle Depot is COR safety certified and thus proudly carries one of the strongest safety programs in the Recycling industry - and we do so while classed as one of the highest-volume Depots in Alberta.

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt and processing of recycling beverage containers, duties include:
· Operate various equipment and vehicles to pick up goods and load/unload shipments
· Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and coworkers both verbally and in written form
· Complete site, equipment, and vehicle inspections during and after delivery ensuring safe operation
· Work performed adheres to all organizational standards
· Conduct all duties and tasks in compliance with the requirements of REDI’s Health & Safety program, REDI Policies and Procedures, and legislative requirements
Job Requirements:
- Clean criminal record or one that is acceptable to the Executive Director
- Between two and five years of commercial driving experience
- Valid Class 5 Alberta drivers license; Class 1 or 3 driver license with airbrakes preferred
- Clean drivers abstract
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Defensive driving course considered an asset
