Fund Development Job Description

Nord-Bridge is seeking a part-time Fund Development Coordinator for a one-year term position. The Fund Development Coordinator will fill a critical role of strategic planning, implementing, managing all our major fundraisers (Gala, Car Raffle, capital campaigns and entertainment events). The Fund Development Coordinator will also assist with other development activities to help Nord-Bridge meet its revenue goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Fund Development Coordinator reports to the Executive Director. The main responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

Support in the development, planning, implementation of all fundraising projects and special events as directed by Executive Director. This would include, but is not limited to, Under Northern Lights Gala, Car Raffle, Special entertainment events and capital campaign.

Manage donation/campaign database software – SUMAC Database (user friendly)

Networking with sponsors in person and by phone.

Assist in updating our donor recognition board.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in public relations, marketing, or business. Event planning/fundraising or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

- Ability to take initiative and to work with minimal supervision.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexible in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and proactive time management skills.

- Strong technical abilities, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel).

- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle / reliable transportation.
