The Garbage Truck Driver - Picker Truck/Container Repair Technician is responsible for;
-
Underground collection bag/container that is operated by a use of a 5-ton crane using a remote control.

Waste and recycling collection services in various commercial sites to ensure that the materials are transported and disposed of in an appropriate manner to designated transfer station or landfill.

Perform general maintenance and repairs for equipment and items on the yard.

Daily cart and container washing.

Painting containers as well as general repair and labor around the yard.

Perform welding and repair of trash/compactor containers, compactor repairs and trash trucks metal repair in our fleet.

Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.

Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks and work as a team.

This job is very physical and works outside in all weather conditions.

What We Need From our Drivers:

Class 3 driver’s license (Newly licensed drivers welcome to apply)

Clean CVOR and Abstract
-
Class 3 Driving experience an asset

2-3 years of Class 3 driving experience preferred.
