ATCO Frontec is seeking a General Kitchen Helper to join the team in High Level, AB. The General Kitchen Helper is responsible for help with the basic preparation of food and maintaining our camp's kitchen and dining room standards.
This is on a rotational basis, in person.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of food portioning
- Oversees stocking of all food and drink serving areas, with a focus on quality, appearance, adequate stocking levels, and minimizing leftovers and product waste.
- Clean and sanitize tables in eating areas as needed to maintain a clean and orderly eating area.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
- Washes pots, pans, plates, through industrial dishwasher as well as hand washing.
- Removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
SKILLS:
- Valid food safety certificate
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised
- Team Player
- Camp experience is an asset
