Fosters Jewellery is a family owned and operated multi-generational jewellery store located in the downtown of Lethbridge, Alberta. Established in 1949, we have served the southern Alberta community for over 70 years with a commitment to excellent quality and service . We pride ourselves with assisting our customers in purchasing Jewellery items for special occasion and trusted to maintain their jewellery and watches. We are authorized dealers for some of Canadas top jewellery designers as well as high quality watch brands.

We are seeking a full-time or part time Goldsmith to join our team. The successful candidate will join our team and be a valued member of our operations. The role will be based onsite at our retail location in downtown Lethbridge. Reimbursement for relocation costs will be offered.

The job duties include the following:

• Cleaning and polishing jewellery
• Repairing jewellery such as necklaces, rings, earrings and more
• Sizing
• Soldering
• Retipping
• Plating jewellery
• Stone and metal identification
• Setting loose stones
• Watch battery replacement

The candidate should have the following qualities:

• At least 3 years of goldsmithing experience within the trade
• Possesses a great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Salary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
