Shift(s) Available : Day shift

Principal Accountabilities:
The Grain Handler will be reporting to the Production Supervisor and will complete the following job duties:
Performing facility operations such as receiving and shipping products, which may include fertilizer, chemicals, seed, and grain
Basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations
Providing excellent customer service and engaging with team members
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Plans and caries out unskilled, semi-skilled tasks in and around a grain terminal
Shipping, receiving, cleaning, weighing and binning of grain
Perform maintenance on equipment and building
Unload and load grain
Provide customer service and exercise appropriate people skills when dealing with colleagues or customers.
Maintain a safe atmosphere within the operation
Perform other related duties

Basic Requirements:
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, may be required to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Must be able to work in various weather, industrial and agricultural settings
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications

Basic mechanical aptitude
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Able to operate machinery
Able to operate heavy equipment
Prior experience in production related work
