Paladin Security is Hiring a Healthcare Security Guard!:
Location: Medicine Hat, AB
Site: AgeCare River View (603 Prospect Drive Southwest, Medicine Hat, AB)
Schedule: Full Time, 12-hour shifts (Day or Night)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Employment Type: Full Time
Averaging Agreement: Yes (12-hour shifts)Overview:
As a Healthcare Security Guard at AgeCare River View, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This position involves proactive patrols, emergency response, and close collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure safety and security across the facility.
Each shift provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting by supporting the well-being of vulnerable individuals and helping maintain calm and order during high-stress situations.Responsibilities:

• Monitor facility premises to ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and calls for assistance
• Support healthcare personnel during challenging or high-pressure situations
• Maintain accurate incident documentation and detailed security reports
• Provide professional customer service while enforcing safety and security protocols

Requirements:

• Must reside in Medicine Hat
• Must possess a valid security license
• Must have open availability 7 days per week for both day and night shifts
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Nice to Have:

• Customer service experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
