Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Hot Food Clerk is responsible for preparing instore made sandwiches, subs, and desserts, and preparing hot foods (chicken, wedges, pizza, etc.) using a combi oven, while following all Food Safe requirements. The Hot Food Clerk is also responsible for delivering world-class customer service, running fuel pumps, operating cash registers and taking payment from customers, assisting with merchandising and displaying products in the Convenience Store, and maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications: Candidates must be at least 16 years of age and be able to work in extreme temperatures when helping customers at the pumps, car wash, and propane station. They should possess fundamental computer skills and the ability to operate a calculator and cash register. Preference will be given to those with food preparation experience.
Must be well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with minimal supervision
Physical ability to handle assigned work, including long hours of standing and frequently lifting 20-30 lbs.; occasionally lifting 50 lbs.
