Swamper - Work assignments require travel throughout AB and BC

Locations: Must reside in city where an Avenge branch is located.

Fort Saskatchewan, Grande Prairie, Peace River

Summary: Swamper position travels and works as assistant to our hydro and combo vac operators servicing oil and gas customers. Frequent out of town travel, accommodations provided when away from home. Many safety certificates and ability to travel and change tasks frequently will be required. Those who hold 3 years experience as a Hydrovac Swamper are eligible for a $1000.00 new hire training bonus!

What does it take to work for Avenge Energy Services?

  • Three (3) year working alongside Hydrovac Trucks - preferred
  • Three (3) year Oil & Gas Sites, Pipeline work experience - preferred
  • Above average computer and smart mobile device app experience
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • On call rotations, night shifts, weekends, holidays and over-time expected
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and re-occurring customer pre-access drug and alcohol testing to be fit for duty and perform tasks safely.
  • Safety Certificates - First Aid w/CPR, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance 201, Confined Space, PCST, CSO.
