Babe Builders in Medicine Hat is looking for a journeyman carpenter to take on staff. We need a journeyman to sign off on our apprenticeship program as well as to be trained into a foreman role. We deal with a great variety of work so the task may vary from framing to renos, woodworking, furniture building, landscape and construction etc. You certainly will not be bored with the variety. We need someone who is able to problem solve on their own, work well with others, has good client care and PR. Only basic tools are recommended (belt, hammer, tape etc.) You will also need to bring your own transportation to the jobsites. The jobs will be mainly in Medicine Hat area, aswell as on a farm 30 min west of Medicine Hat, just off of Township Road 120, where our shop is located. Standard hours are monday to friday 8:00-4:30, but with our company being small we can still offer flexible hours. Currently we have no health or other benefits (except for WCB).
