Position Overview
As a Mobile Parking Compliance Ambassador, you are a key frontline representative of both AHS | HSS and Precise. Your primary responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, conducting mobile enforcement activities, and supporting safe, efficient, and accessible parking operations across assigned sites.
This role requires excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a service-driven approach, while enforcing parking regulations with professionalism and respect.
Work Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time casual position requiring flexibility to work various operational shifts. Common shift times include. This will be in coverage of vacations, sick and other shifts that require coverage. The Hours are 7am to 7pm / 8pm to 6pm. Full time positions as available.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide professional, courteous customer service to all patrons.
- Conduct mobile patrols across assigned sites using fleet vehicles.
- Issue parking notices/violations in accordance with AHS | HSS and Precise protocols.
- Assist customers with wayfinding, payment concerns, parking technology, and general inquiries.
- Operate, maintain, and clean fleet vehicles; track mileage and report maintenance issues.
- Support site monitoring, traffic flow, and overall operational efficiency.
- Perform traffic control duties and maintain pay stations when required.
- Deliver interoffice mail and assist with equipment inspections and reporting.
- Identify and report hazards, safety concerns, and service disruptions.
- Assist during special events, emergency situations, or urgent operational needs.
- Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- 1–2 years of customer service experience (parking, security, or healthcare experience is an asset).
- Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills.
- Customer service training or certification preferred.
- Required certifications (or willingness to obtain): Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) | First Aid & CPR, Conflict Management and Resolution.
- Ability to work independently during mobile patrols and customer interactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, professional demeanor.
- Comfortable enforcing policies while maintaining respectful customer service.
Uniform Requirements
- Approved uniform: shirt, pants, and weather-appropriate outerwear.
- Black polishable closed-toe footwear.
- High-visibility “Parking” jacket. (Provided by Precise Parklink)
- Seasonal protective gear as required.
- All uniform requirements and appearance standards will be reviewed during onboarding and must be followed consistently
Employment is Conditional Upon
- Clear Criminal History Check
- Clear 5-year Driver’s Abstract (dated within 30 days)
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License
- Proof of Canadian residency or work authorization
Driver’s License Requirements
- Must maintain a valid license and clear driving record.
- Must immediately report any suspensions, infractions, or restrictions.
- Annual 5-year abstract required, including after any vehicle-related incident.
- Loss of insurance eligibility may result in termination with cause.
Comprehensive Training Program
Precise ParkLink provides a comprehensive and mandatory training program designed to set every Parking Ambassador up for success. Training is completed in advance of placement and continues on an ongoing basis to ensure staff remain confident, well-prepared, and aligned with operational standards. The program includes Alberta Health Services (AHS) policies and procedures, customer service orientation, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), First Aid & CPR, Conflict Management & Resolution, incident reporting processes, and Defensive Driving for those assigned to Mobile Enforcement duties. This structured approach ensures that every team member has the knowledge and support needed to deliver safe, consistent, and exceptional service across all AHS parking sites.
