Job details
Part time, Tuesday to Thursday, 24 hours per week position for an optometric receptionist/technician required in busy downtown Lethbridge optometry clinic as of August 22, 2022. Seeking qualified candidates with experience in:
- extending courtesy to patients both in person and on the phone
- capacity to multitask efficiently and cheerfully in a close knit team environment
- triaging common ocular conditions over the phone
- operation of OCT (optical coherence tomography) and fundus camera
- utilizing medical software
- contact lens fitting and dispensing
- operation of POS (Debit/Credit Card) machine
Candidates with experience in an optometric clinic will be given highest consideration, more so if they have experience operating Zeiss Cirrus OCT and using Visual Eyes software. Salary will commence at the designated rate with the start of on the job training/orientation.
