Medicine Hat College’s Bookstore invites applications for a Part-Time, Regular Shipper/Receiver.
A little about the role:
We’re looking for a dedicated and growth‑minded team member to join us as a Shipper/Receiver at the college bookstore. In this expanded role, you’ll work closely with the Manager, Bookstore to support the full operational flow of the store. Beyond shipping and receiving, you’ll take on increased responsibility in inventory coordination, workflow organization, and backup support for both the cashier team and the mail/copy room.
We’re seeking someone who not only thrives in a fast‑paced environment but is also eager to learn, contribute ideas, and take ownership of processes. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will help keep our shelves stocked, our systems accurate, and our customers well‑served. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their skills, support a dynamic retail environment, and play an active role in enhancing the student and campus experience.

Details:
As a successful applicant you'll have:
- Grade XII
- Office Technology Certificate OR an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
- 2 years retail and/or warehouse receiving/pricing
Terms of Employment
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week on average
Wage Rate: $19.62 per hour (Start Rate); $21.42 per hour (Job Rate)
