Davis GMC Buick in Medicine Hat has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Consultant to join our team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, the ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where they can build relationships with our external and internal customers and help them find the products and vehicle components they are looking for.
This is a Tuesday to Saturday position and will require the successful candidate to have some Automotive knowledge. Depending on the level of automotive parts experience and drive, the successful candidate can earn between $50,000 and $70,000 annually.

The Role
- Establish Rapport with customers and technicians by offering consistently high levels of customer service.
- Assist technicians, retail and wholesale customers in determining parts requirements, selecting parts and ensuring they are made aware of different products.
- Order parts and provide information regarding parts, including their function, prices, applications, and warranties.
- Solicit new Wholesale customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Work with our e-commerce site to keep it current.
Ideal Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees over the phone and in-person.
- Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical aptitude.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous automotive parts experience is required for this role.
- Valid Driver’s License.
