Davis GMC Buick in Medicine Hat has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Consultant to join our team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, the ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where they can build relationships with our external and internal customers and help them find the products and vehicle components they are looking for. Depending on the level of automotive parts experience, the successful candidate can earn $45,000 to $70,000 annually.

The Role
  • Establish Rapport with customers and technicians by offering consistently high levels of customer service
  • Assist technicians, retail and wholesale customers in determining parts requirements, selecting parts and ensuring they are made aware of different products
  • Order parts and provide information regarding parts, including their function, prices, applications, and warranties
  • Solicit new Wholesale customers and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Work with our e-commerce site to keep it current


Ideal Requirements:


  • Possess a team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to be comfortable dealing and interacting with different customers, vendors, and staff
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a strong interest in parts, and possess a willingness to learn, be open to new ideas and have a desire to continually grow and improve
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous automotive parts experience is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Valid Driver’s License
