**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a well rounded and skilled Plumber, preferably a Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting Drain/Sewer cleaning tasks, using specialty equipment and be proficient in; piping, valve replacements, leak detection. Candidate will also be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Must be able to work alone to complete service tasks, and take pride in their work and customer service.

**Duties:**

- Cleaning Sewer Service drain lines from inside/outside of property to City Main

- Clearing blockages from various types of drains and pipes such as Floor drains, Sinks, Bathtubs, Toilets, Urinals etc

- Repair and maintain plumbing systems to ensure functionality

- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using various tools

- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues

- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals

- Repairing underground sewers and drains using excavation methods

- Repairing frozen drain/sewer lines and steam thawing

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a plumber - Minimum of 3 years experience

- Experience using specialty equipment which includes however not limited to : High Velocity Hydro-Jet ; Sewer System Camera Inspections ; Line Locating ; Hydro-Vac Unit

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and use power tools

- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs

- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus

- Familiarity with hand tools for plumbing work

- Ability to weld and assemble piping components

- Must have clean drivers abstract. This position does require on-call on a rotational basis

- MUST currently live in Medicine Hat or the surrounding area
