Powder Coater/Shop Hand Indeed

Kiwi Iron is seeking a Powder Coater/Shop Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the application of powder coating materials to various metal parts and components in a safe, efficient, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

• · Clean and prepare metal surfaces for powder coating
• · Operate equipment to apply powder coating, including electrostatic guns and spray booths
• · Ensure proper curing and cooling of coated items
• · Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• · Maintain a clean and organized work area
• · Follow safety procedures at all times
• · Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• · Keep accurate records of materials used and production numbers

Qualifications:

• Experienced Powder Coater preferred but training available for the right candidate.
• · Reliable and punctual
• · Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• · Experience with electrostatic spraying equipment is a plus
• · Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• · Must be able to lift and move heavy items
