Description
Cottonwood Coulee Golf Course is hiring Pro Shop Attendants for the upcoming 2023 golf season. We are seeking friendly, driven, and mature individuals to join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests, provide prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
- Check guests in, collect fees, and book tee times.
- Inform players of course rules and regulations.
- Sell merchandise and accurately reconcile cash register sales at the end of shift.
- Ensure guests meet the proper dress code.
- Keep updated on and provide information on upcoming tournaments and events.
- Assist guests with all their needs while in the pro shop.
- Ensure complaints are dealt with in a pleasant manner and mentioned to the manager.
- Maintain the pro shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly by completing general housekeeping duties; straighten merchandise displays, clean facility, and any other tasks that may be assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements:
- Communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and be a critical thinker.
- Provide proper phone etiquette.
- Able to work independently and under pressure at times.
- Present a clean and professional appearance.
- Basic computer knowledge with a willingness to learn,
- Available to work from the beginning of golf season (early April usually) until the close of the golf course in late October.
- Have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous golf course experience or knowledge of the golf industry is an asset.
