Davis GMC Buick in Medicine Hat is seeking our next great team member to join our Service Department as a full-time Quick Lube Advisor!

The Quick Lube Advisor acts as the service department’s first-line customer service representative. They are responsible for scheduling service work in the Quick Lane, selling recommended or required services to customers, and providing accurate work orders to the Service and Lube Technicians. The successful candidate will earn an hourly wage plus the opportunity for additional monthly bonuses.

Job Duties:

 

  • Greet customers in a prompt, courteous manner
  • Actively listen to customer needs in order to gather the nature of the visit, and to recommend any additional services
  • Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected completion times
  • Utilize our database management system to track and follow up with customers for future recommended repairs or maintenance

 

Ideal Requirements:

 

  • Strong background in customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop relationships and ensure customer loyalty
  • Active listener with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Strong work ethic with a positive team attitude
  • High school diploma and valid driver’s license
  • Previous dealership experience an asset, but not required
