Job Summary:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the successful applicant will be a strong communicator with stellar organizational skills, who enjoys the thrill of completing important tasks, making a difference, and getting the job done. Be it tracking schedules, overseeing overtime, or updating key company documents, the Office Administrator will be responsible for taking care of everything that keeps an international enterprise like ours running smoothly.

Be it tracking schedules, overseeing overtime, or updating key company documents, the Office Administrator will be responsible for taking care of everything that keeps an international enterprise like ours running smoothly.
Relationships and Contacts:
This position reports to the Human Resources Manager as well as all other members of the HR team. The Office Administrator will interact with both hourly and salary staff as well as guests entering the facility.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provides courteous service to visitors and employees with tact and diplomacy.
- Promotes positive employee relations and always maintains confidentiality.
- Keep Visitor Logbook updated including making sure anyone entering the facility has reviewed the required SOP’s.
- Upkeep and maintain of hourly employee files.
- Controls and orders office supplies, water ordering, and coffee supplies while ensuring adequate supplies are on hand.
- Organize multiple staff functions throughout the year.
- Organizes travel for salary employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Using or wearing the protective equipment designated by the accident prevention policy.
- Follow safe work procedures.
- Reporting immediately to their supervisor any unsafe conditions or acts.
- Reporting all accidents or injuries to your supervisor immediately.
Food Safety Responsibilities:
- Commitment to Quality System Policy
- Enforce quality and food safety programs within the role.
- Communication of food safety issues to related department and action within the role.
- Active participation in food safety, food security, health, sanitation, hygiene, and quality program within the role
Qualifications and Abilities:
- Grade 12 diploma, Office Administrator Program is considered an asset.
- Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of software – MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook
- Must possess strong interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure integrity of data and confidentiality of employee information.
- The successful candidate will be detail orientated and will possess an ability to multitask in an ever changing, fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with problem solving capabilities.
- Ability to get things done within a decentralized environment with minimal supervision.
- Positive and professional approach with willingness to learn and enjoys challenging oneself.
