You are responsible for administrative support to the Red Deer Civil Mediation Program and the general Resolution Services office. You should be able to deal professionally, tactfully, and confidentially with internal and external stakeholders, clients, coworkers, supervisors, members of the judiciary, the legal community, mediators, agents, and Albertans.
As Program Support to the Red Deer Civil Mediation Program and the general Resolution Services office, you are the first point of contact for Red Deer Resolution Services. Your duties in this role include but are not limited to:
- Responding to general inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and clients in person, by telephone and through written correspondence.
- Preparing paper and electronic files using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
- Data entry and operation of Word, Excel and Access and other automated systems as required.
- Entering and updating mediation documentation, information and results on the computer managing system (CASES, JOIN, Microsoft Access, Client Relationship Management (CRM).
- Maintaining Financial and Statistical reporting.
- General office management duties as required.

- The ability to use initiative to work independently and use sound judgement in handling day to day and emergency situations.

Qualifications
A High School Diploma and three years of directly related experience is required.

Preference will be given to candidate who have the following:
- A conflict resolution Diploma or Certificate and/or frontline experience working with people in conflict or dispute would be considered assets.
- Conflict resolution skills, knowledge of alternative dispute resolution processes, and an understanding of Resolution Services programs would be beneficial.
Equivalencies will be considered on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience.
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education.

Salary
$1,884.99 to $ 2,307.87 bi-weekly. ($49,198 - $60,235 Annually)

The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday 8:15AM-4:30PM, 36.25 hours a week.
