Position Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting customers throughout the car buying process. You will engage with potential buyers, provide information on our vehicle inventory, and guide them through the sales process. Your primary goal is to ensure a positive and seamless experience for every customer. This position requires a high performing individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Experience in automotive sales is not required, but considered an asset. A willingness and commitment to grow and develop is essential. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet customers who visit the dealership.
- Listen to customer needs and preferences to identify suitable vehicles.
- Provide detailed information on vehicle features, specifications, and pricing.
- Conduct test drives and explain the benefits of each vehicle.
- Assist customers in the financing and trade-in process.
- Negotiate and close sales deals in a professional and ethical manner.
- Follow up with potential leads and maintain ongoing customer relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Prior sales experience in (but not limited to): serving and hospitality, electronics sales, furniture sales, real estate or insurance sales is considered an asset but not necessary.
- Friendly and inviting attitude, with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with relevant automotive software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
