Shop Labourer Indeed

We are hiring a Shop Labourer/Light Duty Mechanic {Apprentice} to assist our Shop Mechanic with:

• automotive repairs, equipment repairs and maintenance, diagnosis, fleet maintenace records
• assisting welder with various tasks
• painting misc equipment
• general shop & yard housekeeping
• Heavy lifting, working with power tools, grinders, welders, compressors, handling chemicals, working at heights, working in extreme temperatures
• service work on water wells (working out of town) may be required
• parts-runner, tracking inventory, driving forklift
• MS Excel an asset
• adhering to Company and OH&S rules and regulations

Must have own transportation with valid driver's licence and clean abstract. A Company health spending account is available upon hiring.

First Aid Ticket - will provide training upon hiring

Wage starting at $18 to $23 depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
