Position Overview: As a Tire Technician at Canada Custom Autoworks, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of tires and wheels. Your dedication to our core values and your technical expertise are essential to delivering the high-quality service our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving: Handle the receipt and distribution of tires, wheels, and related products. Ensure accurate inventory control and record keeping.

Work Order Interpretation: Read and interpret work orders and schedules to determine the specific tire and wheel services required for each customer.

Mounting and Balancing: Expertly mount, balance, and install tires and wheels on various types of vehicles, ensuring accurate alignment and optimal performance.

Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to identify any defects, damages, or irregularities in tires or wheels. Ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards.

Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing expert advice on tire and wheel options.

Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on tire and wheel equipment to ensure their proper functioning. Report any issues for prompt repair or replacement.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a related automotive role is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in mounting, balancing, and aligning tires and wheels.

Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and interpret work orders and schedules accurately.

Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting heavy tires and equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality workmanship.

Safety Conscious: Knowledge of and commitment to safety protocols.
