  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, assessments, and selection activities while serving as a key point of contact.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and track employment offers and pre-employment requirements.
  • Support and coordinate high-volume, seasonal, and internal recruitment initiatives to meet organizational staffing needs.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking information throughout the hiring process.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment events and community outreach activities to promote employment opportunities and strengthen candidate pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools, and administrative practices while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment activities, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices across a variety of business environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, applicant tracking systems, databases, spreadsheets, document management, and internet-based applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation, candidate information, and confidential records.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, colleagues, and external partners.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to anticipate needs and follow through on commitments.
  • Comfort working in an on-site role while collaborating with colleagues and candidates in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, exercise sound judgment, and adapt effectively to changing priorities and competing demands.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office Technology, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of work experience in an administrative support role with a focus on talent acquisition.
  • Experience with standard office technology, customer service, coordinating, and administrative support duties.
  • Familiarity with working in a unionized workforce is an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of management-approved training, education, and experience may be considered.
