The Role:

• We are currently hiring Health Care Aides to work at a supportive living facility in Medicine Hat. Please note, we are an agency.
• Shifts are all 8 hours:7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. You do not have to be available to work all three types of shifts in order to apply! You work the shifts that best fit your schedule.
• You will assist with the day-to-day delivery of care and requirements of the resident
• You will work closely with the multi disciplinary team to facilitate the best practices are being used
• You will provide support to residents, their family and visitors during the resident's stay
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program
• Active HCA registration on the Alberta Healthcare Aide Directory
• Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
• Previous experience in the area of Gerontology and Designated Assisted Living an asset
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in delivering excellence in customer service/patient care, employee communication and development

Successful candidates will be required to provide:

• A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, done within the last 6 months
• A copy of their active Alberta Health Care Aide Directory registration

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
