FASD Assessment & Support Services (FASS) is currently recruiting for a FASD Clinic Coordinator/ Consultant in Medicine Hat, and Brooks Area.
FASS provides information, support and advocacy services to children, adults and families impacted by FASD. The Clinic Coordinator/Consultant is responsible for support and consultation services for caregivers of children affected by FASD and adults, as well FASD Neurodevelopmental Clinic Coordination duties.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage program participant caseload.
- Facilitate/coordinate and support individuals and families through the FASD Clinic process.
- Work collaboratively with service providers and clinic team to meet the needs of individuals and families
- Provide FASD consultation to and assist individuals in accessing community resources.
- Maintain program participant files.
- Coordinate, facilitate and participate in parent/child/youth groups.
- Act as a representative for FASS on committees and at community activities.
- Participate in association and program promotion activities.
- Track & enter statistical data.
Qualifications:
- Degree/ Diploma in a related Human Service Field or 3 years related experience in a Human Service Field. Diploma/Degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication including written and verbal, organization and administrative skills.
- Experience in family support practice and FASD is considered an asset
- An understanding of the diversity, customs and traditions of Indigenous people and diverse multi-cultural populations is considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills & ability to work under tight deadlines
This permanent position will be 40 hours per week. The starting date is negotiable. Work week is generally Monday to Friday, with day and evening work required. The wage for this position is $24.80 to $25.57 per hour, depending on education and experience. The successful applicant must have a reliable, insured vehicle for daily work purposes and a valid Driver’s Licence and vehicle registration.
